The number of people who violate Wisconsin's hunting and fishing rules is a small number. But every now and then, a significant case comes to light.
Last week, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel outdoors writers Paul A. Smith reported on the case of 13 men from the Milwaukee area allegedly taking more than 2,200 fish over their allowable possession limit, mainly crappies and bluegills, on the Chippewa Flowage in northern Wisconsin in late May.
